The Creaking of the Gates...

This Autumn, 2027, a new collaborative writing project will begin within the storied halls of the most peculiar boarding school in Jericho, Vermont. While the town continues its uneasy relationship with the academy and its unusual students, Nevermore Academy itself prepares to welcome a new generation of outcasts, prodigies, and questionably responsible young minds.

Strange patterns have begun to surface around campus. Ravens are gathering where they shouldn’t. Locked rooms are reopening after decades of silence, and somewhere beneath the ivy-covered stone, something old may be stirring again!

Writers are invited to create original characters students, faculty, and even the occasional curious visitor to explore the mysteries of Nevermore Academy. Psychic seers, botanicals, shapeshifters, sirens, necromancers, and other extraordinary outcasts are all welcome through the gates.

You should expect eerie discoveries, secret societies, the rise and fall of great rivalries, epic friendships, and the kind of mysteries that begin with a single quiet observation before spiraling into something far more unsettling.

Applications are open for continuous enrollment for those who are brave (or curious) enough to step inside.

Because at Nevermore, the strangest things rarely begin with thunder or screams.

They begin with a whisper in the hallway…
A raven watching from the roof…
Or the unsettling feeling that someone has been keeping careful notes about things no one else has noticed.
